The UAE has ranked eighth globally in the Positive Countries Index issued by the Positive Economy Institute annually, since 2013, to measure indicators of positive economy in the OECD countries Economic and Development (OECD).

As the Emirates News Agency reported, the UAE has made progress in the index that is applied for the first time to a country outside the membership of the organization, over 27 of the thirty-four member states, Including the United Kingdom, the United States of America, France and Australia.

The Index of Positive Countries measures the determinants of quality of life and positive behavior of countries, based on criteria that include the level of their interest in the future of future generations, and the extent of their positive impact on the world.

The advanced ranking of the Emirates in the index came as a result of the distinguished levels of quality of life, the positive behavior of the country nationally, regionally, and globally, and the continuous efforts of the Emirates in anticipating the future, keeping pace with its changes and anticipating opportunities and challenges. That it carries in various sectors, in addition to the state’s focus on future generations, empowering young people, preparing them and preparing them for future requirements.
