The Saudi Oil Minister said in a tweet on Twitter yesterday, Saturday, that he met with the Nigerian President and discussed energy cooperation between the two countries members of OPEC.

Khaled al-Falih said that he had met with President Muhammad Bukhari on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa in Jordan.

Al-Falih said that he discussed with the Nigerian President ways of cooperation in the fields of energy and industry and the importance of cooperation to stabilize the international oil market.

Since the beginning of this year, OPEC has cut production in cooperation with Russia by 1.2 million barrels per day.
