Virtual currencies rose during Tuesday's trading as the dollar rose amid investors' speculation that the US Congress will pass the debt ceiling agreement.
Bitcoin rose 0.61% to $27,816.75 as of 11:42 PM ET, according to CoinPass data.
Ethereum also rose 0.63% to $1903.61, and ripple rose 3.33% at 50.44 cents.
The Russian government has scrapped plans to launch a national cryptocurrency exchange, but instead wants to regulate several virtual currency platforms.
