Ammar Al-Ghoul, Chief Financial Officer, Agthia Group, said that raising the percentage of foreign investors' ownership of the company’s shares to 49% will expand the base of foreign investors, and then it will have a positive impact. Al Ghoul explained that raising the percentage of foreign ownership in the company is in line with national efforts, and the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange to facilitate the flow of foreign capital to the UAE.

A food group increased the percentage of foreigners in its shares last May from 29% to 49%.

The group recorded profits of 27 million dirhams in the first quarter of 2020. The group's revenues increased by 12% by the end of the first quarter of this year, to 571 million dirhams.
