Bill Gates predicts a decline in mortality and infection rates from the Covid-19 virus, and may drop below seasonal influenza levels by mid-2022 if no new dangerous variables appear in these Meanwhile.
According to Arab Net, the Microsoft founder, at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore, between natural immunity, a vaccine, and oral treatments, the death rate and disease rate should drop very dramatically.
Gates said the current restrictions faced by the world's vaccination against Covid-19 will change next year, as supply problems are resolved.
Gates pointed out in a hypothetical interview with Bloomberg: “Vaccines are very good news, and supply constraints will be largely resolved as we exit in the middle of next year, and therefore we will be limited by logistics and demand.”
It's not clear in many countries what the level of demand will be, Gates says, especially in places like Africa.
He noted that the world must work to eliminate influenza as well in order to reduce threats of future epidemics.
