Amazon.com announced that it will employ 100 thousand warehouse workers and place orders in the United States due to a significant increase in orders online, with consumers shopping heavily for fear of Corona Virus Outbreak.


According to ArabiaNet, Amazon said in a blog that it would spend more than $ 350 million to increase the wages of these workers in the United States and Canada by two dollars an hour and by two pounds in Britain and about two euros in the European Union until the end of April.


The company currently pays $ 15 or more an hour to workers at US purchase order centers, which vary from region to region.


US grocery chains, Albertsons, Kruger, and Railies, are also planning to hire new workers to service crowded divisions and meet online orders.
