Islamic Arab Insurance (Salama) achieved a net profit of 55 million dirhams in the year ended December 31, 2019.


According to Al Bayan Newspaper, the total written insurance premiums grew by 6.25% to reach 1106 million dirhams in 2019, compared to 1041 million dirhams in 2018.

The board of directors recommended distributing 3 dividends of cash to its shareholders of 3 fils per share, and the subsidiaries of Salama in Egypt and Algeria also recorded significant growth in the underwriting income.
