The ministry clarified that the decision comes in line with the recent (OPEC +) agreement to reduce crude production.

The Sultanate’s Ministry of Oil added that Oman will inform its customers of this.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies led by Russia, the group known as (OPEC +), agreed last Sunday to cut production in order to increase Oil prices amid an outbreak of the Corona virus.

Followers considered that the agreement was historic and unprecedented with other oil producing countries, including the United States of America, to reduce global production by about 20%.
