Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises in the UAE, confirmed that the UAE aims to increase the tourist's visit period to 5 days.

According to Arabiya Net, Al Falasi explained that the tourism sector recovered faster than expected, with the occupancy rate of Dubai hotels reaching 95%.

The UAE launched a unified tourism identity in the middle of this month, which will enhance the tourism marketing of the Emirates as a single destination that reflects the importance of this sector in the national economy.

The most beautiful winter campaign in the world was launched for a period of 45 days with the participation of all tourism agencies in the country and under the coordination of the Ministry of Economy and with the support of the Media Office of the UAE government.

In addition, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, directed the extension of tourist visas for all tourists who are currently visiting the country for an additional month. And without any government fees, as some countries temporarily close their airports, and restrict entry and exit from them.

This comes in order to make it easier for visitors to the country from all over the world who went to it with their families to spend their year-end vacations. All government agencies were directed to facilitate procedures during the coming period for state visitors and tourists, taking into account all circumstances that may occur in their countries, and cooperating with all concerned authorities, to ensure the comfort and safety of all visitors to the UAE.

It is reported that the contribution of domestic tourism to the national economy amounted to 41 billion dirhams last year, with expectations to double this number in the coming years.
