The United Arab Emirates participates in the technical evaluation of the amendments made by Boeing on its Max 737 aircraft.

According to Al Khaleej newspaper, the US Federal Aviation Administration announced that it has conducted a joint technical evaluation with the participation of representatives of nine foreign aviation authorities, including the UAE, as of April 29. < / p>

The US Aviation Administration clarified that the nine entities whose representatives will participate in the evaluation process are the civil aviation authorities in: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, and the European Union. (European Aviation Safety Agency), Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, as well as the Emirates.

This technical evaluation will lead to a comprehensive review on the basis of which a license to be issued to the aircraft's automatic control system while flying.

The review will take 90 days, during which the experts will evaluate various aspects of the plane's automatic control system during flight, including the system design and the interaction of pilots with it, to determine its compatibility with Regulations in effect, and improvements to be made if they are found necessary.

The group responsible for this review is chaired by the former chief of the US Transportation Safety Agency, and includes experts from the Federal Aviation Administration and NASA, not to mention these representatives of the international aviation authorities.
