John McAfee, a whimsical cryptocurrency defender and British-American businessman, posted a tweet in which he objected to his previous prediction of a Bitcoin price of a million dollars, saying that was nonsense. Quite, adding that people who believe his absurd expectations should wake up.

McAfee has used the gross domestic product of the North American continent as a reference for comparison to explain why his previous prediction is a joke, noting that: If the price of bitcoin reached a million dollars, The market value will be greater than the gross domestic product of the entire North American continent.

In his last tweet, McAfee described Bitcoin as the most sophisticated cryptocurrency technique. This is not the first time that he has demeaned the first cryptocurrency. Earlier this year, he described Bitcoin as an old technology and his prediction for the price of a million dollars was his trick to attract new users to the domain.

McAfee recently introduced his cryptocurrency-focused, coded currency called Ghost, and is convinced that both his currency and another new currency called Hicks can attract new people to a field Cryptocurrencies are more efficient than Bitcoin ever.

As recently reported by the Queen Telegraph website, McAfee admitted that his privacy project GHOST had been copied from PIVX open source currency.
