According to the Emirates News Agency, the attacks varied between malware (73%), searches for security vulnerabilities (15%), and phishing attacks (12%), The team also handled 407 cyber incidents.

The announcement of the efforts made by the Computer Emergency Response Team came within the monthly report issued today by the General Authority for Communications Regulation and reviewed efforts to prevent and address cyber attacks that have been exposed to the federal authorities Only in the country, the report has been published on its website.

The report shows that cyber incidents were categorized in terms of severity by 350 moderate-to-severe, 52 severe, and 5 low-intensity incidents, and the report published the common attacks during the month of June, which included malicious programs from CVI Class.

The report included a review of the awareness efforts made by the authority, which included organizing 2085 awareness workshops in addition to holding 150 training courses.
