Revenue from medium enterprises in the Saudi private sector grew by 2.8% in the third quarter of 2018 to reach 113.7 billion riyals compared to the third quarter of 2017.

According to the results of the index of the contribution of small and medium enterprises in the private sector for the third quarter of 2018 issued by the Saudi General Authority for Statistics, the results showed an increase in the revenues of small enterprises that employ from (6 to 49) employed in the private sector at a rate of (0.9%) during the same period compared to the third quarter of the previous year.

The results of the index also showed that the number of workers in small enterprises that employ (6 to 49) employed in the private sector increased to 1.6 million in the third quarter of 2018. With a growth rate of (1.8%) compared to the same quarter of 2017.

Regarding the number of workers in medium enterprises that employ from (50 to 249) employed in the private sector, the number of workers increased to 917.9 thousand workers in the third quarter of the year 2018, with a growth rate of (2.5%) compared to the third quarter of 2017.
