Data issued by the People's Bank of China (the central bank) showed that bond issuances in China reached approximately 6.06 trillion yuan (about 844 billion dollars) last September.

Treasury bond issuances reached 1.18 trillion yuan, while local government bond issuances reached 447.68 billion yuan, according to the People's Bank of China.

Financial bond issuances reached 809.15 billion yuan, while corporate credit bond issuances totaled 1.16 trillion yuan.

Issuances of securities backed by credit assets amounted to 34.49 billion yuan, and issuances of certificates of deposits between banks amounted to 2.08 trillion last month, according to what was reported today, Saturday, by the Xinhua News Agency.

By the end of September, outstanding bonds held amounted to 153.9 trillion yuan.
