The list of accusations facing the Chinese company Huawei Technologies, after it was accused by the American Intelligence of receiving funding from several parties within the Republic of China, namely: the National Security Committee and the Liberation Army PDF, and a branch of the Chinese Intelligence Network.

Reuters reported, citing the Times newspaper, that Huawei had rejected the accusations and commented: Huawei does not comment on unverified allegations that are not supported by any evidence.

US intelligence had transmitted its allegations earlier this year to other members of the Five Eyes group to exchange intelligence information that includes Britain, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

The accusations come at a time when trade tensions between Washington and Beijing prevail amid fears in the United States that Huawei devices could be used for espionage. The company stressed that these concerns are unfounded. Huawei authorities are investigating other sanctions violations by the United States.

In light of these accusations, large educational institutions in the West began cutting ties with Huawei recently to avoid losing funding.
