Kantar BrandZ said NVIDIA jumped 18 spots to No. 6 with a brand value of $201.8 billion in this year's report, after achieving the highest increase in brand value of 178%.

Five newcomers entered the top 100 brands, including lululemon (No. 92 with a brand value of $20.6 billion) and Corona (No. 100 with a brand value of $19 billion), according to the report.

The business technology platforms and services category grew the fastest, with its total value increasing 45% in this year’s report, partly due to excitement around advanced artificial intelligence.

The Brand Rating and Evaluation Report is based on the opinions of more than 4.3 million participants on 21,000 brands across 532 categories, according to the website of Kantar BrandZ, a company working in the field of marketing data.

The company pointed out that in order for any company to be eligible to enter the global classification, trademarks must be owned by a company listed on the stock exchange, or by a private company whose financial data is available in the public domain, noting that its classification methodology combines financial analysis with comprehensive measures of brand equity.
