The financial statements of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco) showed a significant jump in the company's profits during the first nine months of this year, by up to 121.6%, on an annual basis. .

According to the company's results for the Saudi market (Tadawul), today, Sunday, the profits for the period amounted to 291 billion riyals, compared to profits of about 131.31 billion riyals in the same period in 2020.

The company achieved profits of 114 billion riyals in the third quarter of this year, compared to profits for the same period of 2020, amounting to 44.21 billion riyals, a significant increase of 158.1% .

The company said in a statement to the market that the increase in profits is due to the increase in crude oil prices and quantities sold, and the increase in profit margins for the refining and chemicals business.

The company decided to distribute cash dividends to shareholders for the third quarter of 2021, amounting to 70.33 billion riyals, explaining that the share of dividends is 0.3518 riyals.

And it clarified that the eligibility date will be next November 4, provided that eligibility will be for the shareholders who own the shares on the due date and are registered in the issuer's shareholder register at the Depository Center at the end of the second trading day following Due date.

The company indicated that the distribution of dividends will start on November 22, 2021.
