The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index ended trading on Tuesday with a rise of 0.454%, gaining about 45.32 points, and closing at 10021.04 points.
The session witnessed trading with a total value of AED 1.080 billion after trading on 389.899 million shares, which were completed through 24,690 executed transactions.
The market witnessed two large transactions on Aram Group shares, totaling AED 21.867 million. The transactions involved 5.466 million shares, representing 6.9% of the company's shares, at a price of AED 4 per share.
The total market capitalization of Abu Dhabi stocks recorded AED 2.619 trillion at the close of trading today, compared to AED 2.610 trillion at yesterday’s close, achieving market gains of approximately AED 9 billion, with a growth rate of 0.34%.
Regarding stock market activity, the prices of 43 companies rose, while the shares of 37 companies declined, and 53 companies maintained their previous levels without change.
Abu Dhabi National Hotels topped the list of the most rising stocks with a 6.407% increase, while Fujairah Cement Industries led the list of the most declining stocks with a 3.226% decrease.
Two Point Zero stock topped the list of activity in terms of trading volume and value, after recording liquidity of AED 210.792 million through the trading of 95.605 million shares.
The performance of sectors in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange varied at the close of trading today. The telecommunications sector topped the list of winning sectors with an increase of 2.01%, followed by the consumer discretionary sector with an increase of 1.83%, then the technology sector with 0.69%, the financial sector with 0.35%, and the industrial sector with 0.28%.
In contrast, the basic materials sector led the declines with a decrease of 1.05%, followed by the real estate sector with a decrease of 0.89%, then the energy sector with a decrease of 0.52%, and the healthcare sector with a decrease of 0.40%, while the consumer goods sector declined slightly by 0.13%.
Regarding investor trends, foreigners recorded net purchases of AED 76.006 million, with purchases amounting to AED 337.869 million compared to sales of AED 261.863 million.
In contrast, Arab investors’ trading was net selling, with a net sale of AED 32.506 million, while Gulf investors’ trading recorded a net sale of AED 17.99 million.
In contrast, local investors turned to selling with a net investment of AED 25.499 million, after their total sales amounted to AED 669.115 million compared to purchases of AED 643.615 million.
