The semi-annual profits of Commercial Bank of Kuwait increased by 57.4% in the first half of 2023, and the bank approved cash dividends.

According to the statement issued by the bank yesterday, on Saturday, August 5, net profits rose to levels of 69.2 million dinars for the semi-annual period ending on the 31st of June, compared to 44 million dinars during the same period of 2022.

Operating profits before provisions increased by 33.5% to KD 57.1 million, compared to KD 42.8 million last year.

Income from fees and commissions increased by 6.9% to 21.6 million dinars.

CBK's profits from foreign sector operations increased by 12.7% to 4.3 million dinars.

While the total assets reached 4.2 billion dinars, i.e. decreased by 1.8%.

The bank approved an interim cash dividend of 12 fils per share.
