The financial statements of the UAE real estate company Aldar showed an increase in the company's profits in the first nine months of this year by 27% to reach 1.5 billion dirhams, with earnings per share of 19 fils.

According to the company's results for the Abu Dhabi Financial Market, today, Wednesday, the profits for the third quarter of this year amounted to about 473 million dirhams, an increase of 11% on an annual basis.

The company said in a statement to the stock exchange that the increase in profits during the comparison periods is mainly due to the improvement in the gross profit margin to reach 40%, compared to 33% during the third quarter of the year. Previous, in addition to a 44% decrease in provisions.

The company's profits rose by about 8% in the second quarter of this year to reach 520 million dirhams, while profits in the entire first half rose by 36% to 1.1 billion AED.
