The profit attributable to shareholders of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) reached AED 207 million, an increase of 44.8% year-on-year.
Empower recorded total revenues of AED 630.5 million, an annual increase of 16.7%.
Meanwhile, the cost of sales for the period increased year-on-year by approximately 11% to AED 322.5 million.
The first quarter of 2026 saw the signing of 28 new contracts to supply more than 35.6 thousand tons of cooling to various projects and buildings in Dubai, which increased the corporation’s contracted capacity to 1.98 million tons of cooling.
On the other hand, Empower added approximately 33,500 tons to its total connected capacity and expanded its customer base to 160,000 customers.
The corporation recently announced the signing of a contract to design its fifth district cooling plant in Dubai’s Business Bay, with a production capacity of up to 44,000 tons of cooling. Construction is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
