Gold futures rose during the Asian session on Tuesday.
According to the Comex classification of the New York Mercantile Exchange, April gold futures were trading at USD2,042.65 per ounce at the time of writing, up 0.18%.
It was previously traded higher at USD2,043.85 per ounce. Gold could find support at USD2025.40 and resistance at USD2053.20.
The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.07% to trade at USD103.68.
Meanwhile on the Comex, silver for May delivery rose 0.01% to trade at USD22.74 per ounce while copper rose
