The Saudi Stock Exchange is witnessing an official holiday today, Monday, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s celebration of the 94th National Day, the anniversary of its founding by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Faisal Al Saud.
The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced earlier the trading hours during the 94th Saudi National Day holiday, as it decided that trading would end at the end of business on Sunday, September 22, with Monday, September 23, being an official holiday, and trading to resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
The Kingdom celebrates its National Day on September 23 of each year, commemorating its founding by its founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Faisal Al Saud, who announced on September 23, 1932, the unification of the country under the banner of “There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah” and naming it the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after 32 years of struggle and jihad during which he laid solid foundations for this structure, guided by the Holy Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Trustworthy Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, following in this the approach of his ancestors from the Al Saud family.
