These adjustments are the result of several factors related to the phenomenon of the outbreak of the Corona Virus emerging Covid 19, among which are the high levels and size of stockpiles at sites and other governmental requirements and recommendations that have an impact on manufacturing processes in various stages.


The company said that the manufacturing and assembling of aircraft in Bremen is being suspended until April 27, with the main business support services continuing its work on the site, and Airbus sites in the city of Stade will stop the manufacturing and assembly operations until April 11, while additional days were approved to continue stopping the operations For some manufacturing divisions.


In Mobil, manufacturing operations will be suspended this week until April 29, but some activities will continue on site, including building and installation maintenance, aircraft maintenance, some customer service operations and basic product safety, receipt and control of materials and components, basic administrative services and teams Willingness to continue operations.


Airbus has suspended manufacturing and assembly operations in its factories and final assembly lines in France and Spain for the past two weeks for a period of 4 days to intensify health and safety procedures, as the company gradually restored its operations in France on March 23.


Airbus has also suspended commercial aircraft wings in the United Kingdom and aircraft manufacturing operations in Spain and Canada temporarily due to a lack of manufacturing materials and government restrictions, and Airbus continues to monitor and respond to the changing current conditions in order to ensure the continuity of its global manufacturing business.
