Airbus has obtained a credit facility of 15 billion euros (16 billion dollars) to enhance its liquidity, in light of the Corona virus crisis that led to the suspension of the flight of a large number From its fleet.


According to ArabiaNet, Airbus has followed the example of its American competitor Boeing in canceling dividends for 2019 with a total value of 1.4 billion euros.


These measures are aimed at protecting the future of Airbus to ensure that we can resume normal activities or future activities as soon as the situation improves,


Airbus has not withdrawn any lines of credit and has said that it has sufficient liquidity to counter the Corona virus, with about 30 billion euros of liquidity available.


Fouri called for strong government support for airlines around the world who have been forced to stop flying their fleets as well as suffering airline suppliers.


Airbus said it has put in place operational measures to provide liquidity, with production partially resuming in factories in France and Spain after being closed for four days.
