The brand value of Emirates NBD was $ 4.13 billion, according to the annual ranking of The Banker.


According to the newspaper, the bank ranked among the 100 best banking brands in the world, and ranked second in the Middle East and Africa. The bank rose to 8 places, compared to last year, to be ranked 68th in the world in the Brand Finance rankings for the 500 largest banks in the world, which was published by The Banker in its February issue.

The bank achieved strong financial performance in 2019, recording a record net profit of 14.5 billion dirhams and total assets exceeding 683 billion dirhams.


On the social responsibility level, the bank was keen to align its corporate social responsibility initiatives with the values ​​and goals of the Year of Tolerance, by continuing its support to those of determination through social, professional and financial integration initiatives. His initiative, the Job Network, helped 64 people of determination to secure professional jobs in the bank, or with its institutional and corporate partners, while 48% of the bank’s branches were friendly to those with determination. The size of the bank’s volunteering program for the employees and partners of the bank during the year 2019 reached a total of 34,000 volunteer hours, provided by 3,139 volunteers who completed 514 volunteer activities.
