The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation expects that about 85% of clean electricity will be produced in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by 2025.

The Corporation's CEO, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, said that the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant also has the capacity to produce one million tons of hydrogen annually.

Al-Hammadi added at an energy conference, according to CNBC Arabia, that this low-carbon fuel is essential to the transition to a world that achieves net zero emissions.
