El Salvador has succeeded in grabbing more of the digital currency Bitcoin (BTC) on the impact of the recent decline of the world's most famous and highest market value.

The President of El Salvador, Najib Bukila, said in a tweet on the social networking site (Twitter), that his country has purchased an additional 420 units of Bitcoin to take advantage of its recent price drop.

El Salvador's holdings have risen to a total of 1,100 cryptocurrency since its dealership announced the first purchases last September 6.

El Salvador is the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as the country's official currency, along with the US dollar, as of September 7, 2021.

The proxy tweet comes after the price of Bitcoin retreated from its new historical peak at $66,976 earlier this October, but the most popular cryptocurrency is still up about 20% Since the 7th of last September.
