The Emirate of Sharjah has listed $ 200 million in Sukuk on the NASDAQ Dubai, bringing the total value of Sukuk listed in Dubai to $ 67.06 billion.


According to the Emirates News Agency, the total of the Sukuk listed on the NASDAQ Dubai since the beginning of this year amounted to US $ 2.9 billion, and the NASDAQ Dubai achieved in 2019 a yearly rise, with the total Sukuk listings reaching US $ 14.15 billion, which is 18% more than in 2018, which was The total listings of the Stock Exchange have 11.99 billion USD.


Sukuk listings are divided into the Nasdaq Dubai in terms of value to 44% listed by Emirati exporters and approximately 56% by global exporters, which is a good indication of the stock market’s position and its effective role in attracting local and international exporters as the stock market strengthens its plans to attract sukuk issuers from the Middle East and the world to support Sharia-compliant finance sector.


Total global Sukuk issuances increased from US $ 129 billion in 2018 to US $ 162 billion in 2019, equivalent to 26%, according to S&P.
