Gold futures fell during the Asian session on Wednesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange's COMEX classification, December gold futures were trading at USD1,836.25 per ounce at time of writing, down 0.29%.

The session was previously traded lower at USD1,834.90 per ounce. Gold may find support points at USD1830.90 and resistance at USD1896.80.

Dollar Index contracts, which measure the US currency's performance against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.16% to trade at USD106.89.

Meanwhile on the Comex, December silver fell 0.87% to trade at USD21.19 per ounce while December copper fell 0.66% to trade at USD3.59 per pound.
