Natural gas futures rose during the European session on Tuesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, March natural gas futures were trading at USD1.58 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, up 1.74%.

It was previously trading higher at USD1.58 per million British thermal units. Natural gas could find support at USD1.527 and resistance at USD1.669.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.11% to trade at USD104.07.

Meanwhile on the Nymex, crude oil for April delivery fell 1.08% to trade at $77.61 a barrel while heating oil for March delivery fell 0.89% to trade at $2.78 a gallon.
