Natural gas futures rose during the European session on Tuesday.

According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas futures for April delivery were trading at USD1.77 per million British thermal units at the time of writing, up 0.74%.

It was previously traded higher at USD1.78 per million British thermal units. Natural gas could find support at USD1.743 and resistance at USD1.955.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the greenback against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.01% to trade at USD102.47.

Meanwhile on the Nymex, crude oil for April delivery rose 0.76% to trade at $78.52 a barrel while heating oil for April delivery rose 0.91% to trade at $2.68 a gallon.
