Crude oil futures rose during the Asian session on Thursday.
According to the New York Mercantile Exchange, December crude oil futures were trading at USD81.36 per barrel at the time of writing, up 1.14%.
The session was previously traded at a high of USD81.53 per barrel. Crude oil may find support points at USD80.31 and resistance at USD85.90.
Dollar Index futures, which measure the greenback's performance against a basket of six other major currencies, fell 0.50% to trade at USD106.18.
At the same time on Nymex, the price of Brent oil for January rose by 1.06% to trade at USD85.53 per barrel, while the spread between Brent oil contracts and crude oil stood at USD4.17 per barrel.
