US stock index futures were slightly lower in pre-opening trading on Tuesday. Here's a look at how US indices performed:
- Dow Jones futures fell 0.03% to 39,548.00 points.
- Nasdaq 100 futures fell 0.03% to settle at 18,288.25.
- S&P 500 futures were down 0.03% at around 5,244.00.
It is worth noting that the US stock indices had closed their last session, yesterday, Monday, with a slight difference in all their main indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended trading down by 0.21%, or about 81.33 points, to reach 39,431.51 points.
Likewise, the S&P 500 index ended the previous session with a slight decrease of 0.02% to reach 5,221.42 points. However, the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 0.21% or about 37.43 points, to reach 18,198.61 points at the end of trading on the US Stock Exchange.
