U.S. stock index futures were marginally higher in pre-market trading on Wednesday. Here's a look at how U.S. indices performed:

S&P 500 futures rose 0.06% to around 5,307.00 points.
US stock indices closed trading yesterday, Tuesday, with a slight increase in all of their main indices, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended trading with a rise of 0.36%, or about 140.26 points, to reach 38,711.29 points.
The S&P 500 index closed the previous session with a marginal increase of 0.15% to reach 5,291.34 points. Also, the Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 0.29%, or about 53.87 points, to reach 18,654.84 points at the end of trading on the US Stock Exchange.
