The decision ensured that Kuwaitis entering the country would continue to be required to undergo institutional quarantine in one of the approved local hotels for a period of 7 days and to complete the other 7 days of confinement at home, provided that it is excluded from Institutional quarantine: Kuwaiti patients on scholarships for treatment abroad, Kuwaiti students studying abroad, minors who are younger than 18 years and unaccompanied travelers, members of the diplomatic corps, and medical staff, provided that they are subject to home quarantine for a period of 14 days.
