Saudi stocks ended lower on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Cement and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
Leading stocks in the Saudi general index
Among the leading stocks today, Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8210) rose 4.79% or 11.00 points to close at SAR 240.80. Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050) added 4.48% or 1.04 points to close at SAR 24.28, and National Medical Care (TADAWUL:4005) gained 3.77% or 6.40 points to close at SAR 176.20.
Weakest performance at the end of trading
As for the stocks that recorded the weakest performance at the end of trading on Sunday, the stock of Al Baha Investment and Development Company (4130) closed down 7.14% or 0.01 points at a price of 0.13 riyals. The stock of Electrical Industries (1303) also declined by 5.08% or 0.30 points to reach 5.60 riyals, and the stock of Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:1211) closed down 4.60% or 2.30 points at a price of 47.65 riyals.
Most Falling and Rising Stocks
The number of declining stocks exceeded the number of stocks that closed higher in trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange, as it reached 200 stocks compared to 81 stocks that rose, while 15 stocks remained unchanged.
Futures and Commodities Performance
WTI crude oil futures for July delivery rose 1.21%, or 0.93 points, to close at $77.80 a barrel. Brent crude oil futures for August delivery rose 0.90%, or 0.73 points, to $81.84 a barrel. Gold futures for June delivery fell 0.09%, or 2.00 points, to close at $2,335.20 an ounce.
Currency performance
The EUR/SAR pair added 0.37% to trade at 4.07, while the USD/SAR pair remained unchanged at 3.75.
