Unemployment in Japan fell to 2.3% last February in light of the continued positive employment situation, according to Japanese Ministry of Labor data.

According to the Emirates News Agency, the number of unemployed decreased by 120 thousand, or 7%, compared to the previous month to 1.6 million people.

The ministry noted that the number of vacancies amounts to 163 per hundred job seekers, while reflecting the crisis of the decrease in the Japanese workforce as the population decreases and the number of older persons rises.

Analysts noted that the Japanese unemployment rate does not reflect the real situation in the job market, as a large percentage of nearly half of the unemployed are actually looking for better jobs after they voluntarily resign from their jobs. .
