Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange announced today, Monday, the addition of 3 companies to the FTSE Abu Dhabi General Index (FADGI), as part of the semi-annual review of the FTSE Abu Dhabi Index Series.
According to a notice issued by the market, these companies are: E7 Group, Investcorp Capital, and Phoenix Group, as part of the semi-annual review of the FTSE Abu Dhabi Index Series.
Pure Health Holding and Phoenix Group have also been added to the FTSE Abu Dhabi 15 Index (FADEX 15).
The updates will be effective as of Monday, March 18, 2024.
It is noteworthy that the Abu Dhabi Securities Market signed an agreement last December with the Tajikistan Stock Exchange (Central Asian Stock Exchange), paving the way for the exchange to join the exchange platform.
The Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange is set to officially join the platform later next year. Once on board, investors will be able to trade directly on both markets through licensed brokers.
Under the agreement, the Central Asian Stock Exchange will become the fifth member to sign up to join the exchange platform, which is the first digital trading center in the region, and is based on the mechanism of mutual market access.
ADX launched the Exchange platform in July 2022 to provide a network for trading in member financial markets, providing more opportunities for investors to grow and diversify their portfolios, while ensuring a smoother and more efficient trading experience.
