A number of users of the popular cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Global Inc. (NASDAQ:COIN) have revealed over the past few hours that they are experiencing problems connecting to the exchange.
The exchange website is currently displaying a message stating that 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable.
The exchange said in a post on X that it is investigating the issue and working to find a solution, while stressing that users' funds are still safe.
A Coinbase spokesperson said the company had nothing further to add beyond the post on social media site X.
Bitcoin (BTC) price seems to have been largely unaffected by the issue as it is currently trading at $61,865, up about 1% in the last 24 hours. Ethereum is down about 0.5% at $2,914.
