Turkey recorded the highest annual rate of rise in house prices among the countries of the world during the year ending in the second quarter of 2021. The report is based on the global house price index that tracks the movement of residential real estate prices across 55 countries and regions around the world.

The report indicated that the average annual rate of change in house prices increased to 9.2% during the twelve months ending in June 2021, recording the fastest pace since 2005, with the continuation of the housing boom caused by the epidemic
