The assets of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) decreased by 1.04% to reach 1.893 trillion at the end of February, compared to 1.913 trillion in January. >
According to Arabia Net, SAMA's monthly data revealed that assets increased by about 49 billion riyals by the end of February 2020, compared to February of last year, which was at 1.844 trillion riyals.
The total assets of the banking system increased at the end of February to 3.933 trillion riyals, compared to 3.927 trillion riyals at the end of January.
The data revealed that the value of banks ’liabilities from the government increased to 400 billion riyals, compared to 386.6 billion riyals in January, an increase of 3.5%.
