Real estate transactions at the Department of Lands and Properties in Dubai recorded more than 1.35 billion dirhams during this week.


According to the Emirates News Agency, the department witnessed 489 sales of 933.77 million dirhams, of which 49 were land sales of 238.89 million dirhams, and 440 sales of apartments and villas amounting to 694.88 million dirhams.


The most important sales of land came with a value of 48 million dirhams in the third Umm Suqeim region, followed by a sales of 24 million dirhams in Al-Merkad, followed by a sales of 20 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah region.


The sixth Al Habiya region topped the regions in terms of number of sales, with 16 sales pledging 32 million dirhams, followed by Wadi Al Safa 5 with 12 sales amounting to 33 million dirhams, and third in Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens with 3 sales amounting to 29 million dirhams.


As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, sales of 21 million dirhams came in the Burj Khalifa region, as the most important sales were followed by sales of 19 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area, and finally sales of 15 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area.


Umm Suqeim was the third most populous region in terms of number of sales of apartments and villas, with 72 sales of 148 million dirhams, followed by Wadi Al-Safa 5, with 45 sales of 58 million dirhams, and third in Khiran, with 41 sales of 59 million dirhams.


Mortgages recorded a value of 354.79 million dirhams, including 29 mortgages of land valued at 297.69 million dirhams, 55 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 57.1 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the first al-Thaniyya region with a value of 62 million dirhams and another in the fourth region of Warsan at a value of 62 million dirhams.


As for the donations, 12 gifts were received at a value of 58.67 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Merkad region, with a value of 34 million dirhams, and another in the second Al-Aweer area, with a value of 18 million dirhams.
