Today, Tuesday, the Abu Dhabi Securities Market witnessed the execution of a large direct deal on ADNOC Gas shares, worth 45.8 million dirhams.

According to market data, the deal was executed at a price of AED 3.05 per share for 15 million shares of ADNOC Gas.

Direct large deals are deals that are executed outside the order book and do not affect the closing price of the company’s stock or the price index, nor do they affect the highest and lowest prices executed during the session and during the last 52 weeks.

During 2023, the local stock markets in the UAE witnessed the execution of 212 large and direct deals on 39 listed companies for 4.046 billion shares, worth nearly 31.3 billion dirhams.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Market accounted for the largest share of major deals, with 140 deals executed on 2.236 billion shares, worth more than AED 28.5 billion, while the Dubai Financial Market witnessed the execution of 72 deals on 1.81 billion shares, worth AED 2.69 billion.

ADNOC Gas shares witnessed the execution of 29 major deals for 75.3 million shares with a total value of AED 178.5 million, including 10 deals on March 28 with a value of AED 98.4 million, 10 deals on March 29 with a value of AED 37.5 million, 8 deals in April with a value of AED 32.4 million, and one deal in May with a value of nearly AED 10 million.

ADNOC Gas delivered strong performance in the first quarter of 2024, with revenues up 15 percent year-on-year to around AED 22.07 billion ($6.01 billion).
