Shares in the Dubai Financial Market rose during the second trading session of September, Tuesday, with the market index reaching its highest levels in about 10 years.

The Dubai Financial Market's DFMI index rose 0.3 percent to 4,369.83 points, its highest level since 2014.

The total value of trading in the Dubai Financial Market today amounted to about 407.5 million dirhams.

Emaar Properties shares were the most traded in terms of value, rising by 1.6 percent to reach AED 8.85 per share.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange index also rose by 0.17 percent, closing at 9,379.09 points, amid liquidity of 1.11 billion dirhams.

Global Holding Company shares also rose by 0.12 percent, while Aldar Properties shares rose by 0.66 percent.

ADNOC Drilling shares rose 1.79 percent.
