Russia's Gazprom has stated that it cannot resume gas flow through Nord Stream 1 due to an oil leak in the main gas turbine at the Portovaya plant.

According to Arabiya Net, Russia closed Nord Stream 1 at the end of last August for maintenance work for a period of three days that was supposed to end yesterday.

Russia's response came after the Group of Seven agreed to set a ceiling on the price of Russian oil with the aim of impeding funding for the Russian war in Ukraine.
