Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for US economic growth in the third quarter of this year by 1% to 1.9%.

Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for US economic growth after the number of economic indicators exceeded analysts' expectations, CNBC Arabia reported.

Among the economic data that boosted Goldman Sachs' estimates of the US economy, the trade deficit narrowed last August more than expected, and the private sector jobs report for September 2022.

A separate research note by Goldman Sachs indicated that the chances of the US economy entering a recession during the next twelve months are about 35%.
