Egypt intends to open airspace for Qatari planes, similar to Saudi Arabia.

According to Arabiya Net, sources said that Cairo had agreed in principle to the return of flights with Doha, stressing that the implementation of the decision would depend on a number of Egyptian demands.

and the sources indicated that an Egyptian committee is assessing the situation and opening a line of communication with Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Bahrain.

This comes prior to the start of the 41st summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Al-Ula, today, Tuesday, at the invitation of the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

and is expected to attend mainly the files of Gulf cooperation, regional and international strategic partnerships, the Iranian file and its nuclear program, in addition to other files.

The Qatar News Agency reported that the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, is heading his country's delegation to the summit. The UAE delegation is headed by the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, while Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, heads his country's delegation to the summit, and the Bahraini delegation is headed by the Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Oman delegation is headed by Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Saeed, Deputy Prime Minister for Cabinet Affairs.

The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Sabah announced, on Monday, that an agreement had been reached on opening the borders and airspace between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

and the Kuwaiti official added that all the parties emphasized the necessity of unity, not reunification, and gathering the word.
