Ethereum and XRB cryptocurrencies rose during Monday's trading, as the two currencies gained momentum from Bitcoin advancing to an all-time high.

According to Arabiyanet, Ethereum, the second largest digital currency after Bitcoin by market value, jumped 7% to its highest level since June 2018, which raised Its gains have increased to more than 25% in the past three days alone.

Traders said that Ethereum, which often moves in parallel with Bitcoin, received support from growing demand ahead of the update of its blockchain network, scheduled for early December, which is widely expected to make it faster and safer.

XRB, the third largest digital currency, rose 15% to its highest level in two years, which raised its gains to more than 75% in the past three days. Traders said that there is no immediate news stimulating its jump on Monday.

Bitcoin has jumped about 10% over the past week and traded in the latest transactions at $ 18,347, not far from its all-time high of $ 19,666.
