Moody's credit rating agency has confirmed the long-term deposit ratings in local and foreign currencies for seven Omani banks, changing the outlook from negative to stable.

The agency clarified in the report that the seven banks are: Bank Muscat, HSBC Oman, Bank Dhofar, National Omani, Sohar International, Oman Arab, and Bank Nizwa. .

At the same time, Moody's confirmed the baseline and adjusted credit ratings of the seven Omani banks.

The assessment reflects the Agency's expectations of continuous improvements in the operating environment in which Omani banks operate.

This is also evident by the affirmation of the Omani government's rating at (Ba3) and the change of the future outlook to stable from negative.
